Screen Off Recorder — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern Screen Off Recorder (the "App") provided by Wujie Yibang (Fuzhou) Software Technology Co., Ltd. ("we"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

The App provides on-device video recording, in-app near-black screen dimming during recording, selectable frame rates, optional Auto Save & Continue (segmented clips to Photos), camera controls, saving to the Photos library, and optional remote control via the companion Apple Watch app. Features vary by device and iOS/watchOS version. Instant Watch preview and remote control usually require the iPhone app in the foreground. Auto-save produces multiple clips with a brief gap between segments—not a single seamless file. No account is required. We do not upload your recordings to our servers in the current version.

2. License

We grant a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for lawful personal use. You may not misuse the App for illegal recording, privacy violations, reverse engineering (where prohibited), or misleading marketing.

3. Your content and conduct

You are solely responsible for what you record and how you use it, including consent and local laws. We do not host or review your videos. In-app screen dimming does not enable recording after the hardware lock button.

4. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or interruptions caused by OS updates, storage limits, calls, or device issues.

5. Limitation of liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App (if any) or the minimum required by law.
